4th of July

What a fun holiday! I love everything about the 4th of July. Going to the park, eating watermelon, being with family, dancing to country music, and of course the fireworks! This 4th started with us going to the Vernon Worthin park, they had tons of booths, games, yummy food, and music. We walked around there for a little while and then Chad went golfing while Channing and I went to the pool with Linzie and her family. After the pool Channing took a nap and I got ready to watch the fireworks. The fireworks show was awesome this year! It was like 20 minuets long and just amazing! I love the music they put with the fireworks it always makes me so proud to live in this great country.

My 22nd Birthday!

I love birthdays so much! This honestly was one of the very best! I got pampered and spoiled for sure. The day started out by going to get a pedicure with Linzie. I am so glad she came with me. She is one of my best friends and we always have a good time together. We went to the St. George Day Spa and got the deluxe pedicure. It was 70 minutes of heaven.

 

Then I got to relax with my Channing boy till we went over to Linzie's to get ready for dinner. All the girls got dolled up and we headed to Anasazi steak house and grill. It was so yummy. We started out with cheese fondue and then I got some chicken on a hot stone and ended with some delicious chocolate fondue.

After dinner we went outside to open presents. Chad and Linzie both spoiled me rotten and it was so much fun! I love everything that the got me.  I had such a good day its going to be really hard to top this next year.

Father's Day

I am so lucky to have Chad as a partner in parenting. He really is such a fun dad and wants the very best for Channing and our future children. He goes to work 5 days a week to make sure that we have everything we need plus some. He is silly, sweet, and serious when he needs to be. 

This father's day we celebrated by going to the park and having a potluck with some family and played mafia. We took Charlie with us because there is a little pond for him to play in and he loved it! Channing and I got Chad a sweet work out shirt and a card. We love you Chad thanks for everything you do!

I am also lucky to have my dad. I know I picked him up in heaven because he always understands me and listens to me. He never ever judges and always wants the best for everyone. He is so positive and happy. I love him so much! There is a quote that goes perfectly for him. "The only thing better then having you as my dad, is my children having you as a grandpa." 

 

Charlie

We got a PUPPY! We picked him up from Pleasant Grove UT on June 9th, he was only a little over 7 weeks old. Chad picked the name Charlie from the movie all dogs go to heaven. I love the name too. His birthday is April 22, 2012 and we really love him. Since bringing him home he has eaten so many things he is not supposed to. Like wash rags, shirts, socks, and stuffed animals. He bites anything and everything. We get frustrated with him but we know he is just a puppy and he will grow out of this stage someday. He is part of our family forever.
